LukeJade.com was originally made for my first pair of Eclectus but I’ve since rehomed Luke. I intended it as an info-journal for new and aspiring Eclectus keepers in my country but social media – Facebook and all – have become more convenient.

Still I update from time to time and this site will primarily be for those who have Eclectus to find out more about their bird (subspecies) or learn about them.

About me:

I currently reside in the tiny country of Singapore in South-East Asia. Over here, chaining birds and keeping them in small cages is the norm, so do not be alarmed by photos of such. Comments on such issues may be ignored. This is the culture here.

I have been keeping birds from a young age and have had budgies all the way to macaws with some more exotic such as a Black-capped Lory, Patagonian conure & palm cockatoo. I’ve had chickens before too, Seramas and Japanese Bantams.

All my posts are from experience. I may not be 100% correct, so do not blindly swallow what I write.
